Full Time

Corporate Operations & Compliance Associate

Miami, FL | Hybrid

Role Overview

Cerebro is hiring a Corporate Operations & Compliance Associate to support the operational, financial, and governance foundation of fast-growing companies across the U.S. and Latin America. This early-career role blends bookkeeping, compliance coordination, entity management, and structured operational workflows.

You will work directly with the Corporate Operations Manager to maintain clean financial records, coordinate filings, manage documentation, prepare governance materials, and enforce operational discipline across client engagements. The work requires precision, reliability, and ownership — not clerical support but operational execution in environments where mistakes carry real consequences.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Bookkeeping

• Maintain clean bookkeeping for assigned clients: coding transactions, reconciling accounts, reviewing vendor invoices, and supporting monthly closes.

• Prepare routine financial reports and provide inputs for management reporting, audits, and compliance reviews.

• Coordinate AP/AR workflows, expense documentation, vendor onboarding, and payment runs.

• Enforce documentation standards to ensure financial records are audit-ready and traceable.

Corporate Operations & Compliance

• Maintain corporate records, compliance calendars, and statutory filings across multiple jurisdictions.

• Draft and prepare board packages, resolutions, minutes, and signature packets.

• Coordinate with accountants, payroll providers, attorneys, and external vendors to ensure timely, accurate execution.

• Manage contract libraries, document version control, and secure data environments.

• Support onboarding and offboarding workflows, including documentation, verifications, and system access.

• Track operational and governance deadlines to ensure nothing slips.

• Build structure by documenting routines, enforcing standards, and closing operational loops consistently.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, legal operations, corporate governance, or administrative operations.

• Working knowledge of bookkeeping fundamentals: reconciliations, coding, invoice workflows, AP/AR, and basic reporting.

• Strong organizational instincts with the ability to manage multiple workflow cycles concurrently.

• High attention to detail — accuracy is non-negotiable in both financial and compliance-related work.

• Professional written and verbal communication; able to interface with founders, executives, and external advisors.

• Experience with tools such as Xero or QuickBooks, Google Workspace, Notion, DocuSign, and data-room systems.

• Ability to operate in fast-moving, high-standard environments with limited supervision.

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Who Thrives in This Role

• Individuals who are meticulous with numbers and equally disciplined with documentation.

• Operators who take pride in accuracy, organization, and process stability.

• Professionals who enjoy behind-the-scenes execution that reduces risk and supports financial clarity.

• Early-career talent interested in growing into financial operations, governance, compliance, or corporate affairs roles.
